MVRCO is a DJ and producer from Italy. At only 17 years old he’s making quite a splash in the Twine community. He’s just been signed to a label who he met through Twine, and they’ll be putting out his first release in June. He dreams of one day being able to take his music to the international stage. He’s passionate about music and is EDM to the core. We interviewed him last week and got his thoughts on collaboration, growing an audience and getting signed.
MVRCO is finding Twine to be a great means of communicating with other artists. From the moment he signed up he had an audience of people checking his work. We featured his track Union as a staff pick. It’s a collaboration with music producer Doyley, who he met through Twine. Thanks to the success of their track, MVRCO and Doyley have gone on to form a duo, and we’re looking forward to their next release.
MVRCO comments that he’s “very pleased with the commitment that the staff put in”. We do our best here at Twine to make sure your collaborations go as smoothly as possible, so it’s really great to hear that we’re having an impact. Thanks MVRCO! He hopes he can keep going from strength to strength and eventually become a well-known artist. We’ve got all our fingers and toes crossed.
He finds the best way to find other creatives to work with on Twine is to check the platform every day, look at what people are requesting on the collaboration board. If something interests him, he’ll contact them and enquire about the project. “And the job is done!” he says. He makes it sound so simple!
He finds that his influence and audience has grown immensely. Now he has lots of fans, which he appreciates because they are the people that take your career forward. He’s been interested in music since he was 10 years old, and he plays guitar and piano. He doesn’t currently play live, but he hopes to do so soon.
He’s excited about his first release through Acanthite Records, which will be put out in June. We’ll be keeping our eyes and ears peeled too!
