iiOccide is a half British and half Romanian aspiring chef living in England. He hired Brazilian graphic designer Ono Borni to design a logo. In this article he tells us what it was like hiring a designer and gives advice on how to hire designers through Twine.
What was it like hiring a graphic designer?
Hiring and working with Ono Borni was great and I do not regret picking him. Of all the designers who pitched in his work really impressed me as it’s so unique. I told him that I needed a logo with a Panda on it that I can print on snap backs, hoodies, posters etc. and that it needed to be attractive, eye catching and not too complicated.
He found out the type of urban style I needed for the logo straight away and sent me some great samples so I knew the look he was going for. He completed the project quickly and the end design was just what I wanted.
What’s your advice for hiring people on Twine?
If you are hiring someone and you get spammed with pitches, make sure you read them all and take your time to pick a designer, if you have patience you get what you want, but if you rush you will most likely regret it.
