My name is Melissa Hicks and I am a graphic designer. I am originally from the St. Louis area, but moved to the Kansas City Metropolitan area when I was young. In high school I was involved in several activities, but the one that introduced me to design was my newspaper class. I started to really enjoy writing, but that soon shifted when I was introduced to Adobe InDesign to create the newspaper layouts. I received my Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in Graphic Design from University of Central Missouri in December 2015. I am currently employed as a Junior Art Director with JNA Advertising in Overland Park, KS.
