Japanese style toilet - double shocker

Two for the price of one here. Point one is the built-in tap and basin on top which allows for a cheeky handwash as the cistern refills with fresh water. Point two is that this is a "squat style" toilet that you'll hardly ever see in Western Europe. Though this style is supposed to be healthier for pooing due to the, er, extra gravity that the squatting position gives you. WARNING: Video contains toilets. #japan #toilet #notSafeForFemales

Just be thankful it wasn't one of those all-singing-all-dancing ones with the spouts and shoots and hot air blowers :-s On a side note, that's actually a great way of saving water - why flush a toilet with clean water?

LOL yeah those fancy electronic ones can also be quite painful :-/ The top basin is indeed a nice way to save water and space. Great!

I Wouldn't mind living in Japan because I'm into tech and all that. But I hate Japanese food, hate mega overcrowded places and now I hate their toilets, oh and I would probably hate their TV shows

@sean Yeah the food's a bit overrated IMHO. TV (and toilets!) have their good moments though LOL.
