What do you really want/need to know when you read one of these? Songs- Has he got the songs? Yes, he has. He has written for many years. These songs have been well and truly “road tested”. There is the longing and sense of loss of “Across the River”. You should perhaps note that you will end up singing/humming this song for days. There is the broad filmic expanse of “Mexico”. Isn’t it good when one song can transport you to a place you might never have been to? There is the ethereal quality of “Breathe”. This song was debuted at a gig on October 27th 2012, Many of the audience remarked on how stunning they thought it was. (And that’s just 3 of his many songs) Musicianship- He has been playing gigs for many years. Has been fronting the very wonderful Victorian dad since 2007, also does many solo gigs. His style comes from a wide range of influences (musically and geographically). He plays electric and acoustic guitar, harmonica, Piano. He plays with passion and intensity, and believes that if a musician isn’t committed then they should give up. Influences- On any given night you can hear grunge, gypsy music, folk, rock, progressive, punk etc. Nothing is ever ruled out in the service of music that is designed to reach people . He has played all over the North-west of England , and Headlined at the iconic Band on the Wall Club He has also done gigs at those places you have to do when you are on your way up ( but would rather forget) He has played a variety of festivals .
