I'm a freelancer who specializes in 3D Character Animation . My name is Marieta Garrett I am an extremely passionate artist that has found a love for Animation. My journey began at a very young age. I will never forget that magical moment when I was 10 years old and I watched ‘The Little Mermaid’ for the first time. When the movie ended, I was captivated by what I had just experienced and at that moment animation became my passion. I was obsessed in learning The Art of Animation and bringing characters to life. My zeal for animation has lead me to receiving a certification from Animation Mentor, completing Life Drawing classes and being taught by some of the best Animators in the industry. Each educational path led me closer to understanding the Principles of Animation and developing understanding of Body Mechanics as well as in Acting. I have strong organization skills, take notes in professional manner and apply them efficiently. Being a peer buddy at Animation mentor and working with students helped me understand the importance of team work which is key to a successful project. For the past 4 years i have been part of collaborative platform Artella which helped me develop better understanding of the pipeline work flow and the importance of time-line and budged as well as Quality . As a person who challenges herself constantly and wants to improve her skill-set, I like to push myself further so I can develop the best Animation techniques and workflow.
