In short, Hampton, Va native; singer/songwriter; musician; audio engineer, dreamer; Cali bound; Living life like a rockstar in hipster training. The long version: Born in Newport News, Va and raised in Hampton, Talitha Gabrielle is a singer/songwriter who also does covers of hot Alternative, R&B, Pop, and Hip-Hop artists. She graduated from Hampton University in 2013 with a B.S. in Music Recording Technology, and she currently records and mixes her own music. She moved to Atlanta, in June of 2014, and is still currently residing there. She aspires to become well-known for her music. and one day tour, not only across the states, but internationally, as well. Virginia is where Talitha honed in on her talents as a singer. Both her mother and father are singers, and she grew up listening to them and all of her aunts and uncles. Her mother's brother, Allen, is responsible for her love of guitar. He temporarily moved in with them, and even though his stay was short, it was enough to spark Talitha's interest in guitar. He played every day, and she and her sister were fascinated by Uncle Allen and his guitar. Talitha now owns the guitar she grew up listening to. Thank you, Uncle Allen. Talitha moved to Atlanta with high hopes of making a name for herself, and getting herself noticed by the right people. She has done many open mics, and she has also been in a couple shows featuring local indie artists. She is now looking for more shows, and hopes to open for (and maybe even play for) some of her favorites, including Elle Varner and Jazmine Sullivan. Join her on her journey to success!
