#Imaginative and #creative #graphic #designer with +5 years of experience in #digital #graphics, #branding, #print production #design, #illustration, #UI design, sketching, #video #editing & a bit of #photography. I have worked with multiple satisfied and repeat clients from around the globe simultaneously. I have a keen eye for detail and believe in delivering the best results. I believe in #Quality over #Quantity.

My name is Leon P. Strapko. Dad was also named Leon so Mom put the "P" in to avoid confusion. I approach my clients’ art direction and design projects with the professionalism of an experienced marketer and the eye of an artist and illustrator. I have deep, cross-category experience in marketing — from direct (traditional and digital), advertising and brand identity, to collateral, promotion and event marketing — and pride myself on my ability to deliver quality work on strategy, on time and on budget. When illustrating I enjoy creating whimsical, often humorous, images which are ideal for children’s books and in select client projects, could also bring a distinct dimension to creative campaigns. I live in New York with my darling daughter Julia.

I am a cartoonist living in New York City. My stories tend to be based on human emotions and my characters react on their impulses. I hope to make my stories heartwarming and inspirational.

I have 5 years of experience working as a Freelance Graphic Designer/Illustrator. My illustration clients have included Boom Comics, Barnes & Noble, and NBC. I spend most of my time making posters for the NYC Comedy scene and doing standup at night.

I work in a wide range of print and digital media and am dedicated to the fusion of design and music to help recognize talented artists.

About illustrators

An illustrator is a visual artist who creates drawings and illustrations for use in advertisements, books, magazines, packaging, greetings cards, clothing design and newspapers. The possibilities for your business are endless - illustrations are the perfect finishing touch to your graphic design, while illustrated infographics are proven to be far more engaging than plain text. Plus, illustration has the benefit that the only thing limiting you is your imagination - if you want a dragon you can have a dragon.

The types of work illustrators are hired for is extremely varied. Illustrators are hired for projects ranging from editorial, fashion, storyboard, technical and book illustration. Although illustrators are flexible in the kinds of projects they take on, they usually specialise in a particular style. These include traditional styles like pencils, pens, watercolour and pastels, as well as digital art made using software such as Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop. Often, a project might require both, with sketches first drawn up by hand and colouring then completed digitally.

On Twine, you'll find talented professional illustrators with a wide variety of experience in a range of industries and mediums. So whether you want a sketch for your next fashion collection or a cover for your new novel, you can find illustrators to make it happen on Twine.
