K. Tha Producer is more than just another aspiring hip-hop producer. K. Tha Producer is a visionary, an artist with a clear idea of what it means to achieve success in today's music industry. K. released her debut beat tape The Therapist on March 27, 2015. The Therapist was an instant success gaining over 11,000 streams and over 7,000 downloads in just two weeks. The Therapist is not your average street instrumental mixtape. Featuring both street hip-hop beats as well as dance/house music, The Therapist is proof that K. has the ability to creatively move from one genre to the next with little effort. At only 26, K. Tha Producer has already caught the attention of the press and online magazines such as NeuFutur Magazine, Hype Magazine, Hood Critic Magazine, and Indie News at Noon. When K. sat down with NeuFutur Magazine, she explained why she titled her beat tape The Therapist. "Many of the artists and music fans I talk to say music has helped them overcome obstacles, stress, and pain. For them music is a form of therapy. As an artist, I want to create music that is catchy, fun, inspiring, and carefree. If music is therapy, then I must be a therapist." K. began preparing for her breakthrough in the industry four years ago as one half of the production duo Splitting Image Productions. Alongside her younger sister/production partner, Hood Angel, the two produced two albums for their singer-songwriter sister Leshai. Splitting Image's production caught on quickly creating a buzz in their hometown of Peoria,Illinois. In 2012, Splitting Image earned their first magazine interview in Hype Magazine. Now as a solo artist, the young producer is ready to continue on her own musical journey. She is no stranger to hard work, and has built connections with artists not only in Peoria, but also in Los Angeles, New York, Florida, Boston. and Arkansas. A successful beat tape and working with independent artists is just the beginning for K, Tha Producer. She is constantly evolving as a producer and working to create her own signature sound and break into the mainstream music industry at full swing.

About mixing engineers

A mixing engineer is a person who creates the final version of a track, blending together all the vocals and instrument recordings. The engineer mixes these individual elements together until the desired balance of vocal and instrumental volume and frequency has been achieved. Whether it's your next big track or a jingle for your product video, mixing engineers will get the music to sound polished and professional. The last thing you want is for the music on your explainer video to make ears bleed and a mixing engineer can make sure the music, speech and audio effects are balanced and blend smoothly!

Mixing engineers typically use Pro Tools or Logic Pro with a huge variety of different plugins and effects. Some mixing engineers use analog equipment, because they like the warmth it gives to recordings, but most mixing engineers now use digital equipment, because of the cost and how flexible it is. Mixing engineers on Twine can help you. A well-mixed track is so important, it can make the difference between a professional sounding song and a quiet, tinny recording which sounds like it was recorded in a cupboard. On Twine, you'll find talented professional mixing engineers with a wide variety of experience in almost all musical genres. Their job is to make your music sound the best it possibly can.
