Saul Robbins is interested in the ways people interact within their surroundings, and the psychological dynamics of intimacy. His photographs are motivated by observations of human behavior and personal experience, especially those related to loss, unity, failure, and the potential that resides in personal and material history. He is best known for the series "Initial Intake", examining the empty chairs of Manhattan-based psychotherapy professionals from their clients’ perspective, referencing viewers perceptions, associations, and responses to this particular environment and the work that takes place there. In 2012, Robbins created "How Can I Help? – An Artful Dialogue", inviting passersby to speak with himself and other artists about anything they wish for free and in complete confidence, in a pop-up office / exhibition environment in Midtown Manhattan. In 2014 "How Can I Help? – An Artful Dialogue" was presented at Photoville in Brooklyn Bridge Park, attracting more than 5000 visitors and over 100 individual sessions. Exhibitions include The Bolinas Museum, Blue Sky Gallery, chashama, CurateNYC, Deutsche Haus at NYU, Griffin Museum, Mass. General Hospital, MICA, Museum of Fine Arts – Houston, KOLGA TBILISI PHOTO, New Orleans Photo Alliance, Ost Gallery, Moscow, Photoville 2014, Portland Art Museum, The Philoctetes Center, Rayko, The Wellin Museum of Art, and others. Publications include Aufbau, Berlin Tagesspiegel, CPW Quarterly, D – La Repubblica, The Daily Mail, DART, Feature Shoot, FlavorWire, Internatizionalle, Literate Lens, Love Issue, More, The New York Times, Real Simple, Slate, Wired, and others. Robbins received his MFA from Hunter College and is Adjunct Faculty of Photography at the International Center of Photography in New York City. I currently work for a digital media company that specializes in breaking news and I produce and edit videos. I graduated from Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism with a degree in advanced video storytelling/documentary and environmental science reporting. I also worked for a live TV News Station for a year while attaining my bachelors degree in Broadcast Journalism. Essentially, my training prepares me to tell your story with elite precision, accuracy, and creativity. I’m constantly perfecting my craft, honing my skills, and practicing the newest techniques when it come to telling video stories. I love what I do and I’m passionate about video storytelling. On another note, I love living in New York City. The art, the culture, the graffiti all enriches my soul. You will notice from my work that I love to travel and document my adventures. I’m a social butterfly who talks to everyone and never hesitates to join a friend for happy hour. In a perfect world I would have a soft serve personalized ice cream machine during sticky New York summers.

About photographers

A great branding or product photograph can bring professional polish to your business and help set you apart from the competition. Unlike with stock photos, you won't have to worry that everyone else is using that same shot. Plus, a good DSLR shot with the proper lighting equipment will look so much better than a blurry iPhone photo.

Professional photographers use artificial and/or natural lighting to snap pictures of products, people, places or whatever you need. Photographers typically either focus on studio work, or specialise in outdoor, location based work.

On Twine, you'll find talented professional photographers to photograph whatever product, branding or other content you need.
