Richie Jones
Cleveland, United States

Richie Jones Born Richard Jones was born in inner city Cleveland, OH on august 30th 1993 to a mother (Wanda Jones) who at the time was a waitress and a father (Richard Jones) who at the time was a struggling journalist. Richie’s parents saw the dangers of raising a child in inner city Cleveland and soon realized they wanted the best for their newborn child and came up with a plan to escape the woes of the inner city. It was around the age of five Richie’s parents moved there small family to Maple Heights, Oh a small suburb of Cleveland. Although Richie was born in the inner city he always attended great schools and had good grades. Richie continued success in school up until the age of 11 when he was moved from maple heights away from family and loved ones to Solon, Oh another small suburb of Cleveland once in public schools Richie soon saw that moving to a predominantly white neighborhood was much different from the culture and schools he once attended as a young child. For the first time Richie was the minority and for the major part of middle school and high school and outcast and social awkward misbehaved youth. It was around 6th grade after many years of declining grades, bulling and social withdraw at school Richie fell in love with music. Although Richie’s mother always put an emphasis on playing an instrument through middle school and high school Richie always fought back with a rebellious attitude going as far to throwing his cello down the stairs. Richie got his first taste of gangsta rap after he stole a 50 cent cd out of the library in 6th grade after his mother refused to buy the cd due to content and mature language. After hearing this Cd Richie ultimately fell in love with hip hop and started to explore. Richie soon asked for an mp3 player for Christmas and filled it with many of his influences in his music today including Rick James, Bone thugs & harmony 2pac, slick rick, Eminem, and Snoop Dogg. Once in high school Richie now a young teen knew exactly what he wanted to do and that was be a the worlds next big rapper. In 10th grade Richie finally got his chance at recording when his father purchased a desktop computer from a local neighbor. Richie took all his Christmas money and went and bought himself a microphone from the local cd exchange this would be a pivotal point in his life. Richie went on to record over 500 songs throughout the duration of high school. While in private school Richie would rap battle kids at lunch and often freestyle for friends, there was a point where Richie battled three kids at the same time at a local carnival in his home town solon Oh and won against all three. There at private school Richie also meet his future Rock band mates. Richie would go on to form the band forgotten stones with a couple of his friends from private school during his senior year of high school. During this time Richie experimented with drug usage and drinking. Also around this time Richie’s parents who had been married for almost two decades got a divorce this would change the course of Richie’s music. After the divorce Richie went into a deep depression mainly because he was often alone after school and now living in between two homes during this time he sold drugs for the first time to help his uncle pay his rent and have some spending money himself but he was robbed. After that Richie pursed getting his first job of many which he did get working at a local Bar B Q joint he was later fired but went on to work many other jobs including working at chipotle. Richie now works two jobs has stopped all drug usage and is on the path to success he currently lives with his father and plans on going to Nashville Tennessee in the summer of 2015 to pursue his music career.
