I am a firm believer of the phrase ‘less is more’, and that is often translated through my designs in a variety of ways.
Every designer has their own preferred design medium or tools in order to explain and get their ideas across to others quickly. Mine happens to be model-making and CAD. I am adept at multiple CAD/graphic programs and also an eager learner of new programs that would be beneficial for ideation, visualisation or presentation purposes.
Throughout my years of study in NTU, I have conducted research and written several reports on sustainability topics including green/ethical consumerism in my second year and a 7000 word dissertation titled ‘Evaluating The Effectiveness of Design for Longevity, Emotional Durability and Behavioural Steering In Tackling Today’s Throwaway Society In The Fashion & Apparel Industry’ that received a high first in final year.
When I am not designing or making products, I can be found doing some photography outdoors or reading.
One of the products I’ve designed (Entree) was exhibited at New Designers in 2017.
