Lara Mesanza Burke is an artist, designer and maker. She studied metal design at NCAD, The National College of Art and Design in Dublin, Ireland. After finishing with a First Class Honours Degree at NCAD she furthered her studies in Alicante Spain, where she studied a Masters in shoe and accessory design finishing top of her class. The combination of metal design and accessory design has given her great spacial awarness and a love for precision, geometry and structure. These characteristics are illustrated throughout her variaty of work which spans from Metal bags to geometrical ballpen drawings. She is currently travelling around the world and using her photographs as inspiration for her drawings as well as working as a part time freelance illustrator creating an array of projects, from illustrating a World War II inspired board game, adult coloring books to childrens book illustrations.
