My name is Miguel and I was born in Seville in 1971. After having spent several years in Madrid, now I work and live in Barcelona, the city where I was raised and where I studied Fine arts and Cinema. PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE 1995-2015 Director for several national and international production companies such as: Benecé, Blow up, Destino Producciones, G.D.A., Arena Shots, Lavinia Productora, The Lift (Mexico and Spain), Transversal, Pandora (Russia). I have shot TV commercials for many different brands; amongst them: Procter & Gamble, Nestlé, Nabisco, Ambipur, Greenpeace, Chupa Chups, La Vanguardia, Televisión de Catalunya, Asistencia Sanitaria Colegial, etc. As well as for public institutions in Spain, like Generalitat de Catalunya (Catalonia Regional Government), Xunta de Galicia (Galicia Regional Government), Ajuntament de Barcelona (Barcelona Town Hall). I have directed the audio visual installations for several Museums and exhibitions as Gaudi’s La Pedrera in Barcelona, Center of Interpretation of the Delta in Tarragona, Museum of Cava in Sant Sadurni. Other centers in Viladrau, and Olost. I directed a projection Mapping project for the roof of Gaudi’s La Pedrera I have also shot several music videos for Spanish, UK and Russian bands. For TV I directed one season of a music show called “Music Buzz” for Via Digital and several features for Barcelona TV channel. As a screenplayer I’ve written the script for the Tv Series Dr. Trueta for Bonita Films, and the Documentary “Picasso in Barcelona” for RBA productions Apart from my commercial career, I’ve directed short films and art-videos, some of which have been shown at international video and cinema festivals in Europe.
