October 2016 – October 2017:   Worked for an author named Christina Gabbitas. I helped make her book “Share Some Secrets” into a small children’s Animation:
-Working as part of a group which requires communication, planning, organisation and time management.

  • I was responsible for drawing out all the background designs to a 1080p scale for the animation using Adobe Photoshop.
    -Designed character turnarounds for three of the main characters for the animation, also using Adobe Photoshop.
    -Working in a large and busy team has meant we are all very supportive of each other, offer guidance to one another and there was an excellent ethos.

Other Experience

During second of year of my Animation course, I was part of a group who had to create a Virtual Reality documentary on a topic of our choosing. We chose to keep our project close to Sheffield, and we created a documentary on Lizzie the Elephant. Our documentary caught the interest of DocFest employers, and our documentary was chosen to be shown at Sheffield’s Docfest 2017.

Skills

  • Proficient user of the Microsoft Office package, email and calendar software. Degree program has included projects using Adobe Software (Photoshop including Camera Raw, Illustrator, InDesign, Premier Pro and After Effects), Autodesk Software (including Maya and 3DS Max).

  • Have knowledge of Houdini, Blender, and Unity 3D.
