Cellcast is looking for a production assistant to work, on a freelance basis, between the hours of 9pm to 6am in a live television studio.

The production assistant will need to be available to work over the Christmas Period, especially between 24th and 30th December.

Please note that this is an entry level position and all training will be given.

As a production assistant in our studio, a typical night might include:

• Taking photographs/videos, editing them and uploading them onto an internal database
• Moderating our online chatrooms to push various services
• Producing/Directing Shows
• Creating Social Media Content and managing social media accounts.
• Assisting the floor manager within the studio

We are looking for someone:

• Who has an interest in social media and creating social media content.
• Who is confident, upbeat and has a positive personality.
• Who does not settle for second best and is always looking to improve and push others
• Who can work between 24th and 30th December.

It would be beneficial and give you an edge (but not necessary) if they have:

• Education/Experience in Media Production and creating content
• Education/Experience in Social Media and creating content.
• Education/Experience in customer service through online chatboxes and/or social media.

• The opportunity to get involved and trained in other areas of the company and studio.
• We pay above the voluntary Living wage (which is higher then the mandatory national living wage) of £9 p/h. If successful after a trial period then this raises to £10 p/h.

This role will ideally suit:

• A University/College lever, looking for experience
• Someone who might already carry out freelance work and would like to pick up some regular work
