Job Role: Freelance Designer

Location: Working from home OR from one of the office’s - Wigan, Bradford or Stoke-on-Trent

The Freelance Designer will design and build the digital elements of the commercial & promotional portfolio of our popular local radio stations. The scope of work will include designing static and animated display advertising in both Photoshop and HTML5. Web page builds, content creation for social activity & station promotions.

What we’re looking for from you:

We would need someone who can design primarily digital / web. You will have a portfolio demonstrating your experience gained in a similar role with proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator and the Adobe suite. Having experience of print design would also be a bonus as we do have regular stream of print projects

The role is fast paced, varied and constantly evolving. You will be an ambitious, authentic and creatively minded designer. This role would suit an established freelancer; it is currently not a permanent role.

Skills and experience necessary for this Designer role:

• Proficient in Photoshop, Illustrator and the Adobe suite.
• A good understanding of Javascript
• Be able to confidently code HTML and CSS.
• Having experience of creating HTML 5 animated banners would be an advantage.
• Experience in working to tight deadlines
• Ability to work on multiple projects at one time
• Excellent eye for detail
