Freelance Photographer in New York, NY, USA

OAK is looking for a freelance photographer to help with shooting images for our e-commerce and social platforms. You will need to be able to shoot apparel, accessories & footwear on-models as well as flat imagery of products.

Main Responsibilities:

• Shoot e-commerce product on a model (as well as flat and editorial imagery too)
• Help with direction of photoshoot e.g. styling, posing of the model, have a general & consistent idea of how OAK product should be represented
• Efficiently follow the shoot list that needs to be completed for the day
• Retouch and edit images via Adobe Photoshop
• Setting up the studio including the backdrop, lighting necessary for the

Requirements:

• Have experience in giving direction to models during photoshoots
• Experience in shooting with e-commerce companies
• Excellent communication skills - able to take direction from the Creative Directors on the general idea of the photoshoot and what represents OAK best
• Efficient with deadlines and meeting timelines
• Experience with using Adobe is a huge plus (photoshop, illustrator, indesign) in particular for editing and retouching images for e-comm.
• Timing / schedule is flexible - can help with shooting imagery for full days
• Experience in styling and directing photoshoots for fashion brands is a plus*
