Freelance Snapchat Ad Designer in LA, USA

We are an LA-based web content company looking for talented, remote, freelance motion graphics designers to create colorful, aesthetic, animated ads for use on Snapchat.

We are seeking design professionals who have a proven understanding of color, balance, and movement, along with experience creating flat designs, building 2d animations, and working with music.

This position is entirely remote and offers competitive pay in a timely manner, but candidates must be familiar with pacing for digital content. If you enjoy creating entertaining and engaging multimedia from concept to polished artwork, we’d love to work with you.

Responsibilities

• Cut out and animate objects from still images.
• Add sound to compositions that compliment animations.
• Receive feedback and instructions over Slack.
• Devote time to assignments every week.
• Follow directions and guidelines with a willingness to learn quickly.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in design focused program.
• 2-5 years of experience working on design centered projects.
• An incredibly strong eye for designing with color.
• Portfolio showcasing animation samples as well as highly engaging design work and/or mobile multimedia.
• Proficiency in Adobe Animate and/or After Effects, as well as Photoshop. Proficiency in equivalent software will also be considered.
• Functional knowledge of content production for web and/or mobile.
• Strong interpersonal communications with superior verbal and written communication.
• Preferred
• Experience making ads for Snapchat.
• Has used Snap Publisher in the past.
• Experience with vertical video or animation.
• Agency experience a plus.
