Print Design Intern in Cincinnati, OH, USA
Landor Cincinnati is seeking talent year-round for a dynamic print design internship. Landor Cincinnati offers paid internships that last approximately three to four months, depending on the time of year and school schedule and / program (see Yearly Schedule below). There are two to three positions available per term within our print design function. These positions are located in our Cincinnati, Ohio office.
- Winter Term (January – April): interviews begin second week of October
- APPLICATION PERIOD OPEN: Summer Term (May – August): interviews begin second week of February
- Fall Term (September – December): interviews begin second week of June
We are seeking students in their third, fourth or fifth year of college, majoring in graphic design or equivalent discipline. (If you are graduating in the spring of 2019 or have already graduated, please apply for our freelance or full time design positions. We do not hire graduates for internships.) This is an opportunity to expand the learning process by participating in projects from start to finish and interacting with our design, strategy, and implementation groups. Hired interns will be placed on a specific creative team and assigned a mentor to help them navigate day-to-day worklife. After becoming fully integrated into their team, interns can expect to work collaboratively on a variety of projects including branding, packaging, information design, environmental design, multimedia design and more.
Internship candidates must have completed a minimum of 3 semesters or equivalent in their program and should have advanced skills in Adobe Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop with intermediate / exploratory skills in supplemental creative design software. Candidates should also have a solid understanding of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Keynote.
Landor looks for students with stunning portfolios, excellent communication skills, and a strong desire to learn as much as they can about design at a global agency level. Successful candidates will be knowledgeable and passionate about what Landor does, aware of new trends and techniques, and jump in to our work culture with a positive attitude and lots of flexibility.
