I am a Music and Portrait Photographer looking for a reliable, hardworking and eager Photo Assistant. I work mainly out of my studio in the Culver City-area and would be happy to train someone who is interested in learning more about portrait photography and studio lighting.
Main Photo Assistant duties include:
- Setting up the studio before shoots and breaking down afterwards
- Assisting on set with props, lighting changes, etc
- Steaming wardrobe
- Keeping the entire studio clean and organized
- Basic photography skills required
- Social media marketing skills required
- Excellent communication skills required
- Prior knowledge of studio lighting is not necessary but a plus
- Must have a car or reliable transportation
- Must be able to lift at least 40 lbs
Must be available weekdays as well as weekends. The jobs would be on an as-needed basis to start, however I am looking to find an assistant that would like to grow with the business. In a few months, I’d love to hire the Photo Assistant on a more permanent basis to assist with marketing and other business operations.
