The Film and Content Lead is the primary driver of Grow’s filmmaking and photography discipline, contributing in both a hands-on and oversight capacity, and delivering work at the highest bar for craft and story. In addition to leading work for our clients, this position also supports the agency by documenting our projects, community initiatives and agency culture.

The successful candidate will be an inspirational creative, a strategic thinker, and a considerate leader. Standout candidates will combine exemplary skill in direction, filmmaking and photography with a mastery of editing. Experience in storytelling in the context of interactive web, mobile and social platforms is a must. Experience with lighting, studio setup, and live action are all a plus.
A portfolio showing breakthrough digital thinking, conceptual focus, and exemplary craft is a must.

• Lead film-centric projects in both a hands-on and oversight capacity from pitch to execution.
• Contribute to the overall direction of projects, along with fellow stakeholders from creative, strategy, production, and development
• Craft powerful content from new and existing assets, including all relevant pre-production documents such as storyboards, treatments, and scripts.
• Film and shoot photography for small projects, while serving as a creative leader and manager to production resources for larger-scale projects.
• Edit video content using industry standard editing and motion graphics software, including color correction and other visual post-production, along with sound and music mixing / editing.
• Manage and grow an expanding content offering including full-time and freelance resources such as editors, motion designers, sound designers.
• Drive media management efforts and the archival of all assets.

• This is a full-time position at our office in downtown Norfolk, Virginia. Grow offers paid relocation and temporary housing for selected candidates.
