Full stack developer in Montréal, QC, Canada

The project is to create an interactive web-map with a UI for students to query health & wellness services on the island of Montreal given certain critera (i.e. categories like: in need of a consultation, blood test, etc., and whether this services is covered by one of McGills insurance plans). All this data is kept in a PostgreSQL database, and the app is currently written in React/Redux for the front-end and state management with Node/Express for the back-end querying.

The app has a solid foundation written by a previous programmer, however we need a skilled programmer to successfully connect the front-end to the back-end, as well as deploy the app on McGill’s very own server before our fast approaching deadline of mid-May/beginning of June at the latest.

Requirements
-Technical skills (required):

• React/Redux (familiarity with Redux is a needed skill)
• Node/Express
• App deployment

• Ability to work independently (you will be working on the code alone, however the project coordinator has some working knowledge of react and node)
