Digital Project Manager in London, UK

We’re looking for a process driven, client facing Project Manager to join our team to help deliver a major project. The role will initially be a 6 month contract, with a possible extension and will require significant international travel.

You should love working at the heart of a team - someone we can depend on to deliver beautifully crafted digital projects successfully and profitably while keeping clients happy. You should have an eye for design and be driven to maintain the highest quality in creative across all deliverables.

You will be in charge of the day-to-day management of your project and will have input in developing client relationships over time.

Duties will include collecting briefs, writing proposals, sourcing freelance staff, project planning, reporting on revenues, and making sure work stays on track and on budget. The role will require you to be heavily involved in the management of workshops, UX & UI design, development, and video production.

Finally and most importantly, we’re a small but growing team who appreciate a bit of banter during work so someone with a sense of humour is a must!

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead projects from discovery through to the delivery phase, managing day to day correspondence with the client
• Ensure your project comes in on time and budget, keeping a close eye on running costs throughout the delivery phase
• Help forecast the studio’s needs with a solid understanding of project requirements
• Resource internal and freelance staff, updating studio resource plans
• Manage all finances for your project including invoicing clients and handling external costs and resources

Requirements

• 4+ years commercial experience at a digital agency
• Experienced in managing digital projects from concept creation to delivery
• The ability to work autonomously - managing multiple projects and multiple clients simultaneously
• Experience with CMS systems and Client IT departments
• Demonstrable experience managing large and complex projects with multiple disciplines
• Experience working closely with digital designers and developers
• An understanding of creative development and its processes
• A great eye for detail
• An understanding of business needs, strategy and a love for problem-solving
• A proactive and confident nature
• Bags of common sense and a great team player
• Knowledge of the following programmes: Gmail & Tools, Invision, Jira, Paprika, (or similar accountancy software) online scheduling
• Experience working with Agile methodologies.
