Project Manager in Peterborough, UK 🌎
My client, a main contractor specializing in commercial, industrial & retail projects, currently has a requirement for an experienced Project Manager to manage a new industrial development in Peterborough, value £50m. This is a freelance position for a period of around 12 months.
The successful Project Manager will have experience with steel frame construction and 5 or more years of main contractor experience managing projects of similar value on site. You will be responsible for project delivery, planning & programming, design coordination, managing site team and site staff, value engineering and health & safety.

Duties of the Project Manager will include
- Read and understand specifications, drawings, preliminaries, preambles and contract documentation
- Produce H&S and O&M on completion of projects
- Issue subcontractors with regular short-term programmes to ensure planned progress is achieved
- Hold progress meetings
- Liaise with the design team, clients, subcontractors and suppliers to and maintain good working relationships
- Ensure full compliance with all Health & Safety aspects
