PLC Programmer in Halewood, UK
Talos European client is actively hiring experienced PLC Programmers with Rockwell PLC Programming experience within an automotive manufacturing environment. As a leading International turnkey solutions provider, they are looking for proactive and flexible engineers with a strong automotive experience to support, installation and commissioning activities to an automotive project based in Halewood, UK.
As a PLC Programmer, you will be responsible for fine-tuning / improving cycle time for a range of BIW systems as well as providing PLC software development, commissioning and support activities to a leading automotive manufacturing site. Predominately using Rockwell PLC’s you will work in a cross-functional team developing and debugging equipment to achieve uptime and machine cycle times.
Responsibilities of a PLC Programmer include
- Designing and developing PLC & HMI Software for new control systems
- Analysing data and presenting findings in written reports
- Working collaboratively with electrical engineers, process engineers and other staff
- Liaising with customers, suppliers and contractors
- Assisting in the development of new business proposals
To be considered for the role of PLC Programmer you will require a minimum of 3 years working experience of development and commissioning of PLCs. Previous experience of working such automotive projects with Ford, JLR or Fiat is highly beneficial.
The role of PLC Programmer offers a competitive hourly rate, negotiable depending on previous relevant experience. Visa Sponsorship for this position is not available.
