Lead UI Designer in United Kingdom, UK 🌎
We want the Clarks customer experience to be as well designed as our shoes. So we need a talented Lead UI Designer to help design a compelling and engaging online journey. You’ll be instrumental to our business, with the power to craft digital experiences used by millions of people.
You’ll join a growing CX team with a big responsibility: to help lead the CX revolution in Clarks to create a fantastic digital experience using all the tools, ideas and practices you can throw at it. You’ll work alongside the UX team to ensure the brand is represented in the most simple, accessible and intuitive way. You can test and learn your design hypothesis with customers using prototypes and iterating to find the best provable idea. Working with a SCRUM development team you’ll translate concepts into artefacts that communicate your idea in the most effective way possible.
- You will have developed and built digital products and experiences, ideally, you’ve gained this expertise in an online retail role, but if you have a different background, we’d still like to hear from you.
- Experience in supporting, mentoring and managing digital designers, helping them to improve their practice, process and workflow.
- Strong understanding of UI kits, design components
- Experience in collaborating closely with UX team members to create user centred design solution
- Experience in responsive design and design systems
- Strong working knowledge and experience working in industry software, including Sketch, Adobe cloud, prototyping and workflow tools
- Design-related degree or equivalent in practice experience.
