Set Designer for New Musical (Theatre) 🌎

Looking for: Set Designer
Budget: Negotiable
πŸ’°πŸ’°πŸ’°

I am currently looking to source a Set Designer to collaborate on the design and creation of the set for a new musical to be performed for one week in central London in July 2020 (dates TBC). The production focuses on the life of an eccentric fashion designer who had a huge influence on the face of British fashion. The design of the piece needs to feel rich, colourful, bright, effervescent and visually stunning. The theatre we will be working within is is intimate and can accommodate about 250 people (seated). The production has been written to pack a punch in a small space and this needs to be reflected on stage. You will be required to collaborate with costume designers, fashion designers, lighting designers and choreographers to create a set which maximises and compliments the other elements of the production. I’m looking for someone innovative that has a passion for incorporating visual effects and illusion into theatre and someone who is able to translate big ideas into something manageable, realistic and as low cost as possible without compromising on quality. I look forward to talking further.
