A Little Bit About Us
Myself and my partner are creatives in the Boston area looking to start a podcast. Our goal is to foster more reading in millennial generation by reviewing books and articles from the state of affairs in Sudan to the effects of aluminum in deodorant. We will use whit and word play to connect with the audience and ultimately convey the understanding that information is power and it starts with reading.

Job Description
We are looking for a podcast engineer. We will also move to have sponsorship and that may include recording commercials on the podcast for advertisement of out sponsors. At some point there maybe a theme song or opening tagline. These are things to simply consider in the editing process.

Compensation will be hourly and the work is ongoing. We are considering at least two tapings a month, and at most, four tapings a month. Said tapings don’t have to take place once a week. We are open to taping more than one episode a week in order to accomplish the amount of tapings we decide on per month.

Requirements
-Prior experience in sound engineering and editing
-A portfolio or recording of professional work
-At least two references that can speak to the quality of your engineering

Location
This position will be in Boston. You will be expected to be present at studio recordings. After the first few tapings, the ability to work remotely can be discussed.
