Motion Graphics for Explanatory Video 🌎

Looking for: Motion Graphic Designer
Budget: Negotiable
3 days left

I’m putting together a 4 part video series with about 15 minutes of motion graphics.

We do not want a cartoon style explainer video.

Think of it more like an animated science video - where we incorporate some images of objects we’re studying, or from history, show some infographics about trends and causality.

This is a narrated instructional video about life coaching - so much of the graphics will serve to illustrate what is being said.
I’m experienced in postproduction and have a main editor. We have earlier versions of these videos, so we’re not starting from scratch, but this will be a rewrite and visual refresh.
I’m looking for 1-3 motion graphics editors to work with to develop the motion graphics assets.
We can break the job down into 4 types of asset:

  1. Motion graphics from templates. I do have a package of after effects templates especially created for us to create animated bullet points, sentences onscreen, and some simple diagrams. For those we need basic after effects skills.

  2. Animate our logo

  3. Incorporation of third party materials such as stock images, stock video, and portraits of authors etc. We have the capability to edit this, but perhaps there are effects that we can use besides the ken burns effect.

  4. An infographic style part - we will be talking about the 4 historical waves of coaching… we’ll be looking for a brisk animated style to show how the history of coaching came together.

If one of these is especially suited to your experience, please let me know.

The right person will be welcome for future products - we do quite a bit of post production.

Please respond with a description of your skills and history. Experience with documentaries is a plus. Please explain your availability over the next 2-3 weeks as we will be working quickly and may need to portion out the work among several editors.

Finally, please tell me about your years of experience on the software platforms you use, indicate what kind of computer power you have for rendering etc, and give me your best hourly rate for 10-30 hrs of work. Please direct us to your demo reel.

Thank you. Look forward to hearing from you.
