Our small publishing company is looking for an entry-level web designer to help build a large digital event publication in a modular web design tool. This is a short-term, freelance opportunity that may lead to similar future opportunities (depending on performance and other variables).

We need someone who has experience with:
- designing digital publications
- following style guides
- image editing (mostly simple cutouts)
- learning new software
The web design program we use is pretty simple, but it’s still capable to creating attractive digital publications. You will layout various features and articles as well as exhibitor listings.
We’re looking for someone to commit 20-30 hours during the two weeks between Monday, Sept. 30 and Friday, Oct. 11. Our office is located in downtown Evanston. You’d need to be here at least one day for training, but we’re open to the right candidate working remotely, with the understanding that you may need to be in the office at certain points.
