Support with social media strategy & implementation for startup launch in London

We are The Cook & The Thief, and we are aiming to revolutionise how the world experiences premium restaurant food delivered from restaurants to the home.
We are a startup, currently pre-revenue, and we aim to soft launch in the coming weeks with full launch in early 2020. In the first 12 months of operation we will operate entirely in London and then grow to other metropolitan areas in the UK.

We believe that social will be our main tool for raising awareness and building an initial community of advocates. We need a strategy and a campaign which is daring, fresh and memorable to match the exciting and disruptive brand we are developing.

We will have a soft launch period of 4 months during which we need to build and engage a community and move them to trial. Our objective is to have 1,000 orders per month in the 4th month, from an expected 2,000 active customers.

The total budget is £20k for the launch period. This will cover freelancer fees, and any direct costs such as production of content, costs of engaging with influencers, etc. There is a further £20k budget which has been set aside to provide for discounts as an initial incentive to trial
We expect the freelancer to design the strategy and co-ordinate implementation. They may carry out the work themselves or bring in partners. During the 4 month period we plan to recruit internally. The freelancer would initially supervise their activities and then hand over responsibility.
