JOB DESCRIPTION
Bala Yoga is seeking a Videographer/Editor to contribute to our expanding social programs across all studios. This candidate is positive and hard-working with an excitement for our brand and for social platforms! The ideal has a passion for yoga and wellness and has a background in videography and editing as it relates to consumer products, story telling, building a narrative, fashion or other lifestyle branding. We know that yoga can change a person’s day, week….and life. We pride ourselves on the welcoming space we’ve created to gather and move together. More specifically, here are a few additional details about the roles / responsibilities of this position:

• The Videographer/Editor organizes, videotapes, and edits video productions to achieve the desired promotional objectives.
• The Videographer/Editor may function occasionally as Producer and/or Director on video projects by evaluating project objectives and target audience, operating within program format and content to attain desired goals, and staying within budget, time, and facility limitations.
• The Videographer/Editor interacts with BALA YOGA owners, Management, Sales Team and Studio Teams. The Videographer/Editor works with a variety of clients, including children of all ages, clients, staff, yoga instructors and the general public.

EXPERIENCE
Experience in digital storytelling a plus. The ideal candidate is able to show powerful personal stories and personal narrative as they relate to the BALA YOGA brand.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
While performing the duties of this job, employees are regularly required to sit, walk and stand; talk or hear, both in person and by telephone; reach with hands and arms; and lift up to 25 pounds.
