Building Media, Inc. is Looking for a full-stack developer (PHP, MySql) who can work efficiently from home, dig into new projects while learning and maintaining multiple websites and some legacy code, and who can handle multiple projects at once. High-level proficiency in jQuery, Javascript, PHP, MySQL, CSS3, HTML, Foundation 6, Bootstrap 3 or 4 and object oriented programming is a must. Basic Linux commands (for running shell scripts) is a plus. Must be deadline oriented.

This is a work-from-home remote position and location is less important than job experience. The position is a part-time contract position working directly for our on-staff PHP programmer.


  • Perform a mix of maintenance, enhancements, and new development as required
  • Work in a data analyst role and with business intelligence applications
  • Document features, technical specifications & infrastructure Responsibilities
  • Work cross-functionally to convert business needs into technical specifications


  • 3+ years’ of experience in web development and software design
  • Expertise in front-end technologies (HTML, JavaScript, CSS), PHP frameworks, and MySQL databases
