UI/UX Designer
We are looking for a UI/UX Designer for our games, primarily PC and console, with the occasional mobile title. This role is responsible for developing UI/UX wireframes and final assets and will work with the Programming and Art departments to execute plans and integrate UI functionality. The UI/UX Designer is also responsible for user testing and troubleshooting of their designs.
This is a freelance position and will work contracts based on need and availability.
You Are
- Experienced and knowledgeable in UI/UX best practices, strategies, testing, and troubleshooting.
- Experienced with creating wireframes, user flows, and low-fidelity prototypes.
- A champion of user-centric design, and able to present your artifacts to stakeholders.
- Empathetic to the user experience and able to design and conduct user research tests.
- An excellent communicator, both written and verbal.
- Experienced in working with remote teams.
- Highly-organized and able to balance multiple projects at once.
- Knowledgeable of video game platforms, including mobile, PC, and console.
- Knowledgeable of a variety of genres and aesthetics and able to adjust their design to the needs of each specific product.
Bonus
- Experienced with programming or video game engines, especially Unity but also potentially UE4 and Game Maker.
- Experienced with graphic design.
- Degree in related field.
- Passionate about video games.
