Video Editor 📍 London, United Kingdom
We are looking for a freelance post production video editor to join our team on a regular basis. The main position will encompass the creation of our online art courses as arranged with our team of tutors and designer. Occasionally, the candidate will also need to edit new video-advertisements, documentaries, and art videos. We are looking for someone that can commit in the long term as the video editor will be working on projects that last several months. Hence, we are looking for someone that can dedicate a regular commitment of 2 days per week.
You will join our creative team and will focus mainly on editing quality footage and apply animations during post production. An ability to create animations is therefore essential.
This is an exciting opportunity for anyone wishing to work in an arts environment. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of editing experience for the creative industry. Moreover, the candidate must have knowledge and experience with the following:
- Sony and Canon cameras, lenses and footage settings.
- Able to work as part of a team.
- Efficient in editing in post production.
- Ability to create overlay animations with after effects or similar software.
We will provide all the shooting hardware alongside new state of the art equipment but we currently do not have editing software as we understand videographers usually prefer to work on their computer and preferred editing software.
Please note that the position requires a minimum in-house commitment 2 to 3 per week (choosing between Wed, Thu and Fri) in order to work with our in-house team of creatives (we do not accept remote work or agency proposals).
We will email only the successful candidates. Therefore, if you do not hear from us within 3 working days, please assume your application may have been considered as unsuccessful.
