My RCA MA dissertation reviewed visual communication strategies that could be used to change behaviour in situations where the effects of behavioural change are not immediately visible.
Relying predominantly on design theory, behavioural science and behavioural economics the paper outlined feedback creation, repeat exposure to alternative behaviours and reframing using social pressure as three possible solutions that can be used for behavioural change. The dissertation was awarded with distinction and forms much of the theoretical backbone of my practice today.
