His initial passion was for jungle and hardcore music, which was sparked when he borrowed a Dreamscape tape pack from a friend, but he quickly embraced the soulful sounds of US house and the emerging London Garage scene.

After graduating college he quickly became an established DJ in his home town, gaining a residency at Brighton’s seminal club night ‘Nu Garage Central’. At this time Scott was playing a mixture of US house and UK garage by artists such as Masters At Work, MK, MJ Cole, Grant Nelson and Todd Edwards. Nu Garage Central went on to be named one of the UK’s top 10 club nights by MIXMAG and SEVEN magazine.

Scott moved to London to pursue his music career and in 2005 he began a longstanding partnership with Matt Jam Lamont after they met through a mutual friend. Matt Jam Lamont, formerly a part of Tuff Jam is a DJ and pioneering producer who has created some of the most successful dance music ever to come from the UK, including gold and silver selling singles and compilation albums in addition achieving chart UK chart success with girl group Mis-Teeq.

Under various pseudonyms Scott & Matt went on to complete numerous remixes over the following years, reworking international artists including Rosie Gaines, Keisha White and Kerri Chandler as well as much loved dance classics ‘Break 4 Love, the Wideboys’ chart topping hit 'Sambuca and Roy Davis Junior’s ‘Gabrielle’. Their version of ‘Gabrielle’, released in 2012, went on to spend over 4 weeks at no. 1 on Traxsource and was one of the top selling tracks of the year.

In 2008, he was involved with the platinum selling ‘Pure Garage’ CD series released by Warner Music. 4 of his tracks were included on the compilation ‘The Very Best Of Pure Garage’, which has since sold over 80,000 copies worldwide, giving it silver sales status in the UK. Scott continues to have his music licensed to several other compilations, including those for Hed Kandi, Defected and Sony Africa. In 2014 and 2015 he licensed tracks to the annual Hed Kandi Beach House album as well as having 3 co-productions licensed to the Garage Nation compilation, mixed by Matt Jam Lamont & Mike Delinquent and released via Warner Music.

He set up his label CONNECTD in 2011 as an outlet for his productions and co-productions. As of December 2015, the label now has 30 releases and has achieved critical and commercial acclaim in the form of high chart positions from sales and inclusion in over 200 DJ tastemaker playlists across Traxsource and Beatport. CONNECTD has had widespread support from many of the world’s leading DJ’s including MK (Marc Kinchen), Stonebridge, DJ Spen, Tony Humphries, Kenny Dope (Masters At Work) and others.

Scott’s music has been played numerous times on stations such as Kiss FM in Australia and the UK, as well as Rinse FM, Capital FM, Rinse FM, Ministry Of Sound Radio and Choice FM. He has provided guest mixes for globally syndicated shows such as Grant Nelson’s Housecall and the ‘Global Dance Session’. Both of these shows each reach over 2 million listeners worldwide. Scott’s guest mix for Housecall was downloaded over 60,000 times on iTunes as a podcast.

In January of 2015 he appeared on DJ Spoony’s Rinse FM show for an interview & guest mix.

In 2011 and 2014 Scott was featured and interviewed in 5 Magazine, America’s only print magazine dedicated entirely to house music. His music has also appeared in the Irish National press as well as numerous blogs and other websites. He was also interviewed about the culture and craft of DJ’ing in May of 2014, ahead of his debut appearance in Chicago.

As a DJ he has performed all over the UK, in more than 10 states in the USA and in numerous countries including Mexico, Ibiza, Portugal, Russia, Georgia, Switzerland, Greece and The Netherlands. In 2012 and 2013 his label CONNECTD organised an event as part of the official ADE (Amsterdam Dance Event) conference lineup. The Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE) is a five-day electronic music conference and festival held annually in mid-October. The event is organised by The Amsterdam Dance Event Foundation and offers a full program of daytime conferences alongside a nighttime music festival featuring more than 300 events spread across 50 clubs in Amsterdam.

In early 2012 Scott began working for Loopmasters, the world’s leading website for royalty free sounds and samples. Loopmasters release and publish sample packs on the pro-audio market and co-operate with major software and hardware vendors including Ableton Live and Focusrite. Scott has produced some of the best selling products on the site including the ‘Deep House & Garage’ and ‘Jackin House Essentials’ series as well as being behind projects for other industry-leading brands, including sound design and product creation for companies such as Sample Magic and Akai.

As an extension of his partnership with Loopmasters, he was commissioned to create an official expansion pack for Native Instruments Maschine entitled ‘Paradise Rinse’, which was released in November 2014. The product has gone on to receive critical acclaim, being chosen as ‘one of the top 10 best new soundware packs’ by Music Radar Magazine. Native Instruments is an industry leading company that is based in Berlin and creates innovative hardware and software for music production and performance - for producers, guitarists, sound designers and DJs.

In May 2013, Scott released the ‘New Horizons EP’ on Freeze Dried Records. The lead track ‘Deep Inside’ was no. 1 for several weeks on Traxsource. This was one of 12 of Scott’s productions included in their ‘Top Tracks of 2013’ list, which is based on sales. In October of 2013 he compiled and mixed the album ‘Papa Deep’ for Papa Records. He was responsible for over 30 remixes in 2012 and 2013, making Scott one of the most in demand remixers currently working today.

So far in 2015 his touring schedule has taken him to Detroit, Chicago, Miami, Cleveland, Milwaukee, Philadelphia and more, as well as all over the UK. His plans for 2016 include continued North American dates as well EP’s for several high profile house labels. alongside launch of his of sound design and sample label website, CONNECTD Audio, which is currently distributed through Loopmasters. There are also plans for vinyl and digital releases on a new, boutique label, tentatively named ‘Grand Plans’.
