Nina Lee's debut single entitled Try to Break Me is an anthem for all the kids growing up around the world who get picked on by their peers. As a victim herself of bullying, Nina could have let it destroy her, but instead she turned that negative energy into a positive force in her life, and is looking for the opportunity to spread that message even further. She was always infatuated with music from her first encounter with a toy piano as a two year old, to her first voice lesson at six, immediately followed by her first steps on to the musical theater stage at seven. Though her journey may have been destined to culminate in finding her voice as a songwriter, the road was shortened by a sudden move from NYC to Westport, CT a few years ago, where she was faced with the struggles of being the new girl in town and the indignation of trying to fit in with mean girls and jealousy. The collection of songs that are being released as an EP entitled "Try to Break Me" are the result of her displacement, the leaving behind of friends and the bullying she was greeted with in Connecticut. Her hope is that the songs will be a kind of therapy for kids around the world, like the writing of them was for her. #audio #Nina Lee #Skyelabmusic #Arty #Skye #Pop #Try #To #Break #Me #Adele #Skyelab #Music #Group #StopBullying
