The Rogue Thumb is a part of the hand that belongs to Kuba 'Pasti' Pastuszak. Kuba, originally from Świdnik (Poland) has spent last 8 years in Edinburgh (UK), where he currently resides in. He spends most of his time in the Edinburgh University, working towards his PhD in Physics. However, when the time allows and opportunity emerges, he gives his creative-self a go ... and this is when The Rogue Thumb wakes up. Sitting in his little home studio-bedroom, being a self-taught friend with Ableton Live, Kuba and The Rogue Thumb take voyages into the creative sides of music universe. The Thumb incorporates synths, pads, samples, live instruments and random sounds into soundscapes that come out of these music joyrides. Whatever comes out is a mixture of slow and fast, ambient and rough, dark and light, good and bad. Sometimes illustrative, sometimes just a beat, The Thumb does not narrow itself down to a particular genre and tries to stay open minded. Hence, the music here, that's just the Thumb being Rogue, taking the ride from the daily world of hands and faces, science and polite gestures . Whether bad or not, the Thumb takes a pleasure out of every piece, sound and note it makes. And so find them dropped down here, some of the fruits of Thumb's little music production hobby.
