These days I can pretty much build a front-end however you need. That CMS you're running - check! .NET - check! :egacy software with needs the DOM messing with and some 'left-field' CSS - check! Bootstrap, Foundation, any given modern HTML/CSS framework - check! I'm more or less a jQuery expert - I can do pretty much anything needed with it (world peace would possibly be a stretch). I'm becoming a CSS3/SASS mogul as we speak. I breathe HTML. Task runners? - second nature. I build maintainable, scalable code. I'm versed in ES6, ES5, "Vanilla" JS, PHP/.NET integrations - I've been doing this a long time. Give me a front-end problem to solve and I'm happy. I will speak up if I think there're UX mistakes being made anywhere along the line. The user is my focus because everything stems from them. Visit https://www.twine.fm/signin or maybe https://www.twine.fm/signin - I built complex components for both. Just finished working on a web app for a large government agency. I "also enjoy" playing in a band, writing songs, making films and drinking/eating delicious ale, wine and food (but not necessarily all at the same time). And I'm a sucker for a stylish hat.

I am a highly motivated individual with a strong sense of pride in my work and a commercial background in web and software development with a proven track record. I work well with others in small or large teams and can also manage myself on solo projects. I am able to mentor junior developers and take them to the next level in their learning and also help fellow senior developers when needed. I'm always thinking about how we can improve systems and processes in a business and how technology can help to achieve these goals. I work with many types of technology and languages in my daily work life, ranging from PHP ecommerce systems; HTML5, CSS3 and AngularJS front end business tools and NodeJS powered APIs. I have also worked with many legacy systems and databases and had to bring these back to life in new applications and API development, converting old databases to MsSql and MySQL using bespoke C# import programs. If you would like to know more, please do not hesitate to contact me. I am open to new opportunities across the UK. Please feel free to get in touch.
