Trumpetist from Poland living currently in Amsterdam. In 2011 graduated from the Royal Conservatory of music in Amsterdam as jazz trumpetist. Later on, continued study of rhythmical techniques and concepts derived from Karnatic (South-Indian) music system. Experienced in brasilian percussion ( mainly CUICA) Ania plays often with several samba groups in Amsterdam and is a part of different percussion acts for different clients like Redondo Musica or Drummers Initiative Amsterdam. In 2015 Ania is member of Bandgladesh, group that except stage shows, performs audiovisual sets inside a paper balloon. They recorded TWO ALBUMS and perform on festivals, spiritual gatherings, museums, theaters and different venues in Holland and Europe. Other active projects at the moment are: Couple Positive - duo ( tp, ngoni, loops, vocals) Nusodia – an african group with Burkina Faso influences Samba band Bumba Amsterdam – Brazilian percussion workshops percussion shows Gongura- trio with indian singer Furake- quartet with balafon, african percussion, ngoni, trumpet)…Trumpetist from Poland living currently in Amsterdam.
