My name is Bradyn, and I’m a designer and illustrator from Oklahoma. Important: My availability is to be announced, as I currently don’t have the ability to fully jump into art as a career due to financial reasons. However, should the opportunity arise, I will gladly take that leap. I have a BFA in Graphic Design and Illustration. So while my work does focus more on the illustration side, I do have experience in typical graphic design as well, though my work is so old on that end that it does not indicate my current skill level. I have some experience in 3D programs as well, such as Cinema 4D and Blender. Due to economic reasons, art had to move a bit to the back burner while I focused on making sure I had a roof over my head, clothes on my body and food in my stomach. My current setup focuses mostly on Procreate, however I do have a display tablet that allows me to use Adobe products just the same. Some of my work does feature copywrited characters, so I can’t upload those here. They will get thrown into my “fan art” folder for now. My ideal position would be related to character design and creation. While I do have 3D experience, the majority of my work is 2D.

    uniE621 Let us take over
This is a secondary piece. I decided to take the initial design, and give it a more personal feel. One where you could believe they are speaking to you. This being is actually two inside one vessel. They constantly fight for control of it, indicated by the color of the eyes. If both eyes are different colors, then neither has full control. However, if they are one color, that means you are speaking to only one of the two beings. Each divine being having their own individual powers and abilities. This piece is also what I envision when the main character finally meets them. By this point in the story, a lot has happened to our hero and he desperately cries out for help to take revenge for what he has lost. This being appears before him, with both beings inside offering him assistance, in exchange for certain favors/items. This also provides our hero with a choice: Take the assistance of one while possible shunning the other from their favor, or asking for help from both of them. This is a choice the hero must struggle with and accept when the consequences of his choice can change the future forever. #illustrator #designer #graphicdesigner
    uniE621 It’s a pleasure to meet you.
This piece was also a part of my project in university about creating 100 monster concepts and bringing a few of them to life. This being, while odd to look at, is essentially two beings in one. The eyes displaying this idea. It is a god-like character in my fictional universe. This is their true form, although they can take the form of any human-like creature. The eyes can change colors, basically telling you which one is in control, or if they are cooperating. In this piece, you see one eye with each color, showing that neither one was in complete control. They are both an antagonist, but also a divine being that can pass along wisdom and blessings, depending on who is in command of the body. Essentially God and the Devil in one body. The vessel was absorbed centuries before the events that take place in my story. The idea for the head took some inspiration from biblical depictions of angels, with them taking the form of a human, and having a flat halo behind their head. They speak telepathically, as they don’t have a mouth to control. Each being inside of it has their own set of unique powers and abilities. They are a force to be reckoned with even if just one is in total command. However, if both are cooperating/fighting for control, they can unleash devastation on a scale unseen by humans. A clash these beings had actually created a crater, in which the beginning of civilization started. It was their home, and since the crater is so deep, none were able to escape and see that the world consisted of so much more. This civilization is thought to be long dead during the timeline of my story. #illustrator #designer #graphicdesigner
    uniE621 Bliss
This was my biggest project at the time, being 4’x2’ in size. This piece makes a bit more sense in the frame, however the idea still comes across. I wanted a 3D design. Something that popped. This was also my longest project at the time. I have considered revisiting this idea, however taking some of the newer skills I’ve learned to really take it to another level. Printing this was quite the headache, as my only option was using the on campus print shop. It took multiple attempts to get the colors right from the printer, and making small adjustments so that some of the details didn’t get blurred out. #illustrator #graphicdesigner #designer
uniE621 You left me to sink
This was a very personal project. I was still dealing with some feelings from a very rough break up. I was in a very dark time in my life, not even just from the break up. I kept it simple, and just allowed the title and the idea to do the talking. I had another, similar project also dealing with those feelings that never got completed. This one, I felt, was the better idea of the two. #illustrator #designer #graphicdesigner
    uniE621 You should smile more
This project was a weird one. It started as a chameleon. Let that sink in. I’m not sure what compelled me to create it after shifting from the chameleon idea. I think some inspiration came from the Joker, along with The Batman That Laughs. Something that the title gives away is that common phrase that you often hear people say to women: You should smile more. So I took that concept to its extreme. The hooks and blood, along with the outstretched face leads to more questions than answers, as the face seems more masculine than feminine. I realize the eyes wouldn’t truly sit like that, and that the smile also probably wouldn’t keep that shape in real life. #illustrator #graphicdesigner #designer
uniE621 The Devil is in the details
This particular piece was really just a random idea I had late one night. It doesn’t really break the mold on anything, but I wanted it to be a clean design. It went through many revisions, including having a full body and having three horns instead of just the two. I felt it became too “busy” with all of these, so I scrapped it and downsized to focus more on the closer details. I wouldn’t mind revisiting this, and trying to work it into a full body design for a creature in my fictional universe. #illustrator #designer
    uniE621 Don’t get too close
This project was during my time in University. My goal was to create 100 monster concepts, and slowly work on bringing a few to life. This little guy originally had legs, and was purple. However as time went on, I removed the legs since they just didn’t seem to fit, and the color was changed since the different shades of purple also didn’t seem to fit. The monster itself is covered in a very acidic goopy substance. Everything it touches is slowly eaten away, including leaving trails of acidic burns behind it as it moves. The eye on the tentacle is actually a fake eye, used as a deterrent for potential predators looking for an easy meal. It’s body doesn’t necessarily have a “true form”, just some general shapes it makes inside and outside of combative areas. It is known to sneak into villages and population centers through the sewage systems, slowly making its way up to the surface in the hunt for its own food: Humans. If you see a weird, green goopy substance, turn the opposite direction and run as this monster is faster than it appears. #illustrator #monsterdesign #illustration
