Dj Wiliya, pronounced "Will-Lie-Ya", started Djing in the late 80's. She started playing many house parties in her lovely city Of El Sereno, California to to get her name out there. Back in those days house parties were the clubs. Soon after her teen years, she started Djing raves from 1995-1997 She played from San Francisco to New Orleans. In 1997-2002 she had the pleasure of doing celebrity award shows and private parties. In 2001-2003 she started her rounds of Djing at lesbians & gay bars. She played The Palms, Executive suits, Rage, Club 7969, and Escapades. She also played Latin Gay Pride and Long Beach Gay Pride. In 2004 Dj Wiliya had a life altering experience and had to overcome one of the biggest challenges of her life. She had to recover from a devastating car accident in which she lost an arm. Her love for music, and desire to play has driven her back to the decks again. In 2007 while living in Las Vegas she did guess spots at Boulevard Theater (Formally Empire Ballroom), Drai's, Griffin Bar, Ark bar, Rain and First Friday events in the Art District. Her style of music is a blend of Tribe, House, and High energy with a large touch of remake remixes of classic 80's songs from the past; Which she likes to call "Liquid Sex for your Brain!"
