Born and raised just out side Boston. Dave developed a love for performing while in school. After school Dave was looking for some kind of musical vehicle. Being friends with a few of the guys in Opositive (an emerging band from Boston) Dave began a decade long journey with his friends that was to shape his musical direction. Opositive had great local success along the east coast of the USA, from Washington DC to Portland Maine. Opositive had two independent releases before getting signed to Epic records. After the debut release of "Toyboat toyboat toyboat" Opositive and Epic disagreed on the direction of the band. Many lawyers later they were again free to pursue their own direction. Opositive then release another independent CD on Smashing records and was met with great local success. Many gigs and a couple of years later Opositive broke up but remained one of Boston's biggest local success stories. Dave stayed active in the music scene while working on his own tunes. When it came time to record his solo CD "One has hope for her soul" he called his old band mates, some old friends (Dana Colley from 3colors/Morphine and Jeff Williams an extraordinary local pianist) and some new friends he made along the way.
