    uniE621 GardaWorld LinkedIn Posts
During my time at Trivision, one of our consistent clients was a security and logistics contractor named GardaWorld. They would come to us in need of graphics for their social media profiles, usually around holidays or other events that they had a part in. I studied their style guide, and though they had a lot of leeway when it came to designing for socials, I made sure to keep the hard rules in place and making sure the other elements fit in with the rest. Red for headers and accent, white for body text, dark gradients for contrast, and the branding elements. I’m particularly proud of the Armed Forces Day post, as I created that image by combining and adjusting multiple images to really match what they wanted.
    uniE621 Uprising Poster
With a striking red, gold, black, and white color scheme, and a rocker’s hand punching up into the center of the frame, this event poster designed for a course drips with rebellion and edge. I pulled inspiration from Russian propaganda posters trying to garner support for war, and later, for the communist government when people started to ask questions. They were always showing action or heroic people serving the party, and glorified labor and strength over all. I tried to emulate that glorification with this poster, with radiating lines and hard borders between colors. Along with the Soviet-esque font choice, I think I managed to achieve my goal.
uniE621 Curious Minds Enrichment Registration Posters
I was recently contracted for design work by a company named Curious Minds that holds after-school child enrichment sessions, letting them explore mechanics and thinking outside the box with LEGO robotics kits. I was responsible for designing the company’s new branding, and made sure to keep the design of the posters consistent with it. Whereas the job ad flyer was more professional and to the point, featuring only green, black, and grey, these pieces are more colorful and feature fun illustrative elements that relate to the topic of the course, such as a radial star element for the space-themed Starbots, and pawprints for the animal-themed Zoobots. It was a slight challenge designing in a way that was unique and fun, while maintaining the brand identity and sense of unity with the previous flyer.
    uniE621 Ex Libris Tea Company
Marketed towards bookworms, brainiacs, and avid tea drinkers, Ex Libris provides a line of teas themed around classic novels from three distinct genres to match the characteristics of each tea. Pride and Prejudice for the classic and classy English breakfast tea. Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland for the laid-back and unorthodox chamomile tea. And finally, Moby Dick for energy-boosting gunpowder green tea. Even the logo itself seeks to unify the concept of tea and books further, taking the shape of a quill and turning the feather into a set of three feather-like tea leaves. Finally, the use of the Mrs Eaves typeface gives it a refined, classic feel befitting the brand. Crafted with rugged cover stock and packed full of high-quality tea, I put a lot of love into the packaging for this brand. A description for each tea and a quote from each book that has something to do with tea is written on the back of each box, and the interior contains instructions for brewing the best cup of tea. However, the stars of the packages are arguably the bold woodcut illustrations that can be removed and collected, while also creating ports that allow the tea to be removed and counted at a glance. On the back of each illustration is also a brief summary of the character or scene depicted to add a little more info to each box. The appeal of collecting each set brings people to buy the other variants of tea.
    uniE621 InZero Product Icons
While I worked at Trivision Studios, we received a project from a company named InZero looking to modernize and standardize their brand across their site. At the time, it was somewhat cluttered and outdated, with low-res graphics and clipart vaguely explaining their products that included device locks, virtual machines, and cloud security. I was tasked with coming up with icons to go under their existing “main category” icons, creating something new while pulling elements from the main icon to keep the designs looking like a unified family.
    uniE621 Nobilis
Latin for noble, the Nobilis card deck is one of my more recent and favorite works. This is just a small sample of the full 54-card deck. I wanted to combine the geometric and angular style of most of my vector work, with the organic flow of some of my more traditional pieces, all while keeping with my usual color palette of white, black, and an accent. I spent a lot of time researching meanings behind each suit, and what color would best suit those meanings, in addition to characteristics that would fit the face cards. Maturity and sternness for the militaristic spades and wealthy diamonds, and youth and gentleness for the spiritual hearts and agricultural clubs.
