Welcome to the world of Drawn to Fashion. My name is Marta Madison and I have steadily grown this art practice to include scarves, greeting cards, fashion and bridal illustrations. I am old-school: I draw on paper using pencil. then I will build this up using any number of techniques: watercolour, pen and ink and charcoal or marker. My inspirations are the photos if Irving Penn, David Bailey and my drawing style is reminiscent of Rene Grauer, whom I consider the Master. I love the 20s-60s era of fashion, but have embraced the digital age with graphic pen on the iPad. I rediscovered fashion illustration in late 2010 after many years of abstract paintings and have steadily moved into a more dedicated practice with larger art pieces underway. I specialise in rendering intricate lace and sating fabrics in bridal portraits. You can see my bridal art under the bridal illustration menu http:/_Website not available. Sign in: https://www.twine.net/signup_ My clients include the Diamond Exchange, Stragier Tissus, Brides by Francesca. I was pleased to partner with #abiabridalawards as official artist for the Australian Bridal Industry Awards where my work was showcased during their annual ABIA bridal awards night.
