I'm a musician who specializes in singing and writing songs that move people. I have been singing for over 20 years, and my voice has been compared to artists as diverse as Sam Smith and Tracy Chapman. I specialize in working collaboratively to create songs that tell stories, have compelling melodies, and elicit powerful emotions within the listener. The warmth and emotion of my voice, along with heartfelt and well-crafted lyrics, create highly unique and memorable songs. I have led workshops discussing the process of songwriting and emotional expression for aspiring musicians at Boston Songwriters' Co-Writing Collective, as well as NYC's theSoundshop music salon. In 2018 I won the CCVM Best New Song contest for my original song "Once in a Blue Moon." This led to co-writes with top songwriters such as Jay Stolar (Train, Aloe Blacc), Jess Best, and Miranda Glory. In 2019 I collaborated with London-based label OTOD records to create demos for R&B artist Jean-Mikhael, as well as co-write for my upcoming EP.
