Having been raised by multiple generations of artists I’ve always been a black sheep amongst the non-creatively inclined half of society. But I found my home at the Savannah College of Art and Design where I am working on a BFA in Illustration with a minor in Scientific Illustration. My work is influenced by my aspirations of becoming a tattoo artist and my love of mechanics. As a result it is characterized by graphic images created with strong line-work. I take a personal interest in using unconventional mark making. Most commonly I employ cross-hatching or stippling, to develop dimensional intrigue. And in my spare time I am passionate about my 1968 VW Beetle and the mechanics of motorcycles, hot rod and tattoo culture, and street art.
