Hot Vestry are a band from Macclesfield whose Demo CD granted them support slots with New Order at Manchester Apollo. Last year they released their first EP 'Tell Me How It's Done' on their own Bleichpop Records. After the release, New Order again asked them to be their support band at Jodrell Bank with Johnny Marr. Following this, they played festivals such as the Isle Of Wight, Kendal Calling & Festival Number 6. The EP gained new fans including Tim Burgess of The Charlatans. Tim then asked the band to support him on his September 2013 UK tour. In October 2013 'Drowned In Sound' named them their band of the month. With a new EP being released on Tim Burgess 's O Genesis Records, who knows what will come next. Manchester Evening News calls them "four teenagers deadly intent on showing up British indie-pop’s recent complacency. The band marry big pop hooks with esoteric flourishes, juddering rhythms and an impressive questing spirit with their their genre-straddling experimental pop".
